Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us through our forms:
- Contact / demo request: company, first name, last name, email address, phone number and message.
- Become a reseller: first name, last name, email address and message.
- Help: first name, last name, company, email address and message.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site only stores a language preference (a "lang" cookie) when you use the language selector, so that the home page opens in your language on your next visit. Like any website, our host automatically receives technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) needed to deliver the site and protect it against attacks.
To understand how the site is used (number of visits, most viewed pages), we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures traffic anonymously and in aggregate: it uses no cookies, does not follow you from one site to another and does not identify you.
Why we use it
- To respond to your request (demo, quote, support, reseller application).
- To follow up with you about that request.
- To ensure the security and proper operation of the website.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for any other purpose without your consent.
Consent
By submitting a form, you consent to the use of your information for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the person in charge listed above.
Who has access and transfers outside Québec
Your information is only accessible to Colossale employees and authorized partners who need it to process your request. To operate the site, we use the following service providers, which may store or process information outside Québec:
- Cloudflare (website hosting, security and anonymous traffic statistics) — servers in Canada, the United States and elsewhere.
- Web3Forms (forwarding form submissions to our email inbox) — servers outside Canada.
- Microsoft 365 (our email service, which stores the messages we receive) — servers in Canada and elsewhere.
Before using these providers, we assessed that they offer adequate protection for your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as necessary to respond to your request and to follow up on our business relationship, then we destroy it securely. Messages received through the forms are deleted no later than three years after our last exchange, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Security
The site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to the information received is limited to authorized persons. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the persons concerned, as required by law.
Your rights
You may at any time:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request that it be corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent or request its deletion;
- request that it be provided to you in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability);
- request that its dissemination cease or that it be de-indexed.
To exercise these rights, write to the person in charge listed above. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page indicates the latest version.
